How we handleyour information
A plain-English explanation of what we collect, why we need it and the choices you have
Last updated: 12 August 2026
We collect only what is needed to answer enquiries, scope and deliver work, and operate this website. We do not sell personal information or use enquiry details for unrelated marketing.
Who is responsible
KalkiWeb is operated by KalkiCore Pty Ltd in New South Wales, Australia. In this policy, “KalkiWeb”, “we” and “us” refer to KalkiCore Pty Ltd.
Privacy questions and requests can be sent to admin@kalkiweb.com.au.
What we collect
Depending on how you deal with us, we may collect:
- contact details such as your name, email address, company and role
- project details such as the service required, budget, timing, objectives and constraints
- communications, meeting notes, proposals and other records created while discussing or delivering work
- administrative information needed for contracts, invoicing and support
- basic technical information produced when a website is requested, such as IP address, browser type, requested page, date and response status
Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, health information or other sensitive information through the enquiry form.
How information is collected
We usually collect information directly from you when you email us, submit an enquiry, join a call, request a proposal or work with us. We may also receive authorised project information from a colleague or business partner you nominate.
The enquiry form on this website prepares an email in your own email application. It does not automatically send the form to our server. Once you choose to send that email, it is handled by your email provider and ours.
Website technology
This website does not currently use analytics, advertising trackers or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider may keep ordinary access and security logs.
The site requests typefaces from Fontshare and Google Fonts. Those providers receive the technical information needed to return the requested files, which can include your IP address, browser information, requested URL and referring page. KalkiWeb does not receive user profiles or advertising data from those font requests.
Why we use information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, assess whether a project is a good fit, prepare proposals and contracts, deliver and support agreed work, keep business and financial records, protect our systems, and meet legal obligations.
Enquiry details are not added to a marketing list unless you separately ask to receive updates or clearly consent.
Who we disclose it to
We may disclose information to service providers that support email, hosting, file storage, communication, accounting or professional advice. We may also involve a specialist contractor where their skills are needed for your project. Access is limited to what is reasonably necessary for that role.
We may disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights or safety, or as part of a business transaction with appropriate confidentiality arrangements. We do not sell personal information.
Overseas processing
Some technology providers operate infrastructure outside Australia. As a result, technical data or project information may be processed in countries where those providers or their subcontractors operate. Provider locations can change. Contact us if you need current details for a particular service before sharing project information.
Security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information we hold. No internet or email system is completely secure, so please use an agreed secure channel for confidential material.
We keep information only while it is reasonably needed for the enquiry, project, support, business records or a legal obligation. When it is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
Access and correction
You may ask for access to personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct it. Email admin@kalkiweb.com.au with “Privacy request” in the subject line and enough detail for us to identify the relevant records. We may need to verify your identity. We will respond within a reasonable period and explain if a request cannot be completed.
Privacy complaints
Email admin@kalkiweb.com.au with “Privacy complaint” in the subject line and describe what happened. We will acknowledge the complaint, investigate it and aim to provide a written response within 30 days.
If the issue remains unresolved and the Privacy Act applies, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our information practices or website services materially change. The date above shows the latest revision.
